SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WINERY CORTIJO LOS AGUILARES, ALMOST TWO DECADES AGO, WE KNEW THAT THE KEY TO A GREAT PRODUCT RESIDES IN THE SMALL DETAILS. THIS IS WHY, FROM THE PLANTING AND HANDLING OF THE VINES, DOWN TO EACH ASPECT OF WINEMAKING, WE DESIGN OUR WINE WITH GREAT CARE. WE AIM AT REACHING THE HIGHEST QUALITY, TO BECOME A REFERENCE AMONGST ANDALUSIAN’S WINES AND WINERIES.
Located in the Serranía de Ronda (Málaga province, Andalusia), an exceptional vine-growing enclave, Cortijo Los Aguilares is a family-run winery. The 800-hectare Estate is mainly composed of holm oak with 25 ha dedicated to vine-growing. The rest of the landscape is a breathtaking scenery of century-old holm oaks and scrubland, which represents an ideal environment for our vineyards. At more than 900 m of altitude with between two Natural Parks, this generates a great biodiversity and a special microclimate, allowing us to cultivate a wide diversity of grape varieties.
